On Tuesday, April 26 at 6:30pm via Zoom, Susan Campbell, Research Affiliate with the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, will share the World of Hummingbirds with us. This presentation will be recorded and shared via MARSH’s You Tube channel. Susan Campbell, wildlife ecologist who has worked across NC for more than 20 years. Most of her experience is with birds although she is interested in species interactions, habitat and conservation. Susan is a writer and educator as well as a researcher. She is a research affiliate with the NC Museum of Natural Sciences and is the North Carolina repository for hummingbird records and information.

Susan will discuss the natural history, identification and movements of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds across the state. She will emphasize the ecology of these winged jewels in central North Carolina. Also, the discussion will include tips on providing for hummingbirds. We will dispel some common hummer myths as well. Prepare yourself for learning more than a few amazing facts about these fascinating little birds.
