As were all preparing for our first winter weather event this weekend, we hope you’ve carried out the Southern tradition of procuring a plentiful bread and milk supply!

In case you didn’t, rest assured…..the Village is working hard to pretreat Village roads that may be hazard to safe travels. If your subdivision is maintained by the Village of Marvin (not NCDOT or privately maintained by the HOA/Developer), we will be sending out contract crews to inspect and treat areas accordingly. Please see the map if you are unsure who maintains your road. Pretreatment crews will be out on Friday and Saturday morning. Note: we will NOT be plowing Village roads on Sunday or Monday; with a projected ¼ inch of ice and inches of snow, we encourage you to use strict caution in getting out. While salting roads can help mitigate hazards, it does not prevent them and we urge you to stay home and enjoy family time and warmth!

If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact the Village Manager, Christina Amos through the Contact the Village form.
